Facebook launches first ever campaign for Instagram
Facebook, owner of social network Instagram, has launched its first ever marketing campaign for its sister company, in France. The campaign will be held in France, and will include out-of-home (OOH) posters and pop-up displays, cinema and digital ads across the country. Head of Facebook France, Laurent Solly, told French newspaper Les Echos: “We are still growing, but it is mostly a way to celebrate our Instagram community, [which is] very active in France.” Representatives from Facebook and Instagram haven’t confirmed how much has been spent on this campaign, but Solly did say that the investment was “significant”.
