On Wednesday August 3rd at Frosmo Breakfast & Learn: Cross device tracking, a vital tool in Mobile optimisation? We will discuss what happens when it comes to markets that prioritise “mobile-first” mentality. The force of mobile is hard to ignore, and retailers have started taking action accordingly. With customers now used to shopping across smartphones, tablets and desktops it makes cross-device marketing paramount, yet connecting the customer across these device types is still a struggle for marketers. If mobile mentality is something you'd like to explore please register here

This is a working breakfast so you will be served an a la carte breakfast whilst we talk and we will take individual orders closer to the time.

Join the Ecommerce Club once again on Tuesday 19th July from 12:30pm to 3:00pm at Forty One Restaurant, St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2. At this lunch we will be exploring the new and innovative diagnostic tool, 'MyEcomKit'. This kit helps to equip the widest range of businesses to develop their ecommerce strategy  in a way that is unique to each individual business. It aims to help retailers with platform selection for specific ecommerce issues, ranging from payment provider selections, clarity on comparative cost, digitising appropriately for your market, as well as long tail business growth. If you're a retailer thinking about finding the right providers, this is the perfect lunch for you or if you just want to sanity check what you are already doing. Come along and find out more about 'MyEcomKit' from Joan Mulvihill CEO at IIA and Gordon NewmanHead of Multichannel at Lifestyle Sports who have helped to develop this tool. Please register here

On Thursday 21st July from 12:30pm to 3:00pm at Gaucho Piccadilly join the Ecommerce Club for Marketing Personalities: Driving Purchase. We will examine specific factors and variables that influence buyer behaviour. Of course product quality and brand reputation are always key factors, however psychological and internal stimuli, functional and social need as well as external stimuli have a critical impact on the ways in which consumers finalise their purchase. Join us at this lunch and listen to Neil McKay CEO of Endless Gain and Helen Powell, Ecommerce Innovator from Little Black Dress explore this topic. Please register here

All Ecommerce Club Lunches are for retailers only - No vendors, agencies or consultants are permitted to attend due to limited space.

We look forward to seeing you soon

All the best

Euro Car Parts launches 15 minute click and collect site
Euro Car Parts (ECP) has launched a fully-responsive and mobile-optimised website with an investment of £1 million. The new site supports a click and collect service that offers customers the chance to pick up in as little as 15 minutes.

Euro Car Parts (ECP) has launched a fully-responsive and mobile-optimised website with an investment of £1 million. The new site supports a click and collect service that offers customers the chance to pick up in as little as 15 minutes.

With over 40 million visitors in 2015, EuroCarParts.com wanted to launch a new platform, which also provides a dedicated French and German website to support the company’s ambitious European growth plans.

Euro Car Parts makes 60,000 deliveries to UK garages every working day. It stocks 130,000 different parts covering all makes and models, plus tools and accessories such as sat navs, stereos and dash cams.

The new supercharged Click & Collect service makes its entire range available to consumers with an unbeatable delivery promise: most parts will be ready for collection from your local branch within 15 minutes. Rarer parts, held at one of 16 regional hub stores or the National Distribution Centre, will be available either the same or next working day.

Meanwhile, the new platform, at EuroCarParts.com also features a dedicated section for performance parts, while dedicated French and German websites support the company’s European growth plans.

Chief executive Martin Gray said, “EuroCarParts.com has everything a motorist could possibly need, from brake pads and batteries, to spark plugs and screen wash, even new body panels. We have quadrupled our ecommerce turnover since 2012 and 70 per cent of these sales are collected in-store, so it made sense to expand click and collect to our entire stock holding instead of just parts held at each local branch. The new supercharged click and collect is the quickest way for consumers to get any part for any car, including performance parts, at trade prices.”

Euro Car Parts was established 38 years ago to supply BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and VW parts. Today it is a leading distributor of parts for all makes of cars and light commercial vehicles.
