Hi
Mobile contactless payment grew substantially in 2016, with 38m transactions made throughout the year, mainly on lunch and drinks at the bar. This suggests a growing trust from consumers in contactless technology. Curbing your night-time cravings is much easier now, with the launch of an app which lets you know where the closest open (or 24-hour) McDonald’s is to your station, great for those ‘just one more for the road’ moments that you’ve probably paid for on your contactless card! On Tuesday 28th March, we will host the Ecommerce Club London Working Lunch: New trends in search marketing, successes and failures at Malmaison, Farringdon. Leading retail businesses, including Trainline, Kidszania, Coogan London, Borough Kitchen, Pure Jewels, Cordings and Supreme Factory will meet action sports brand, Animal and our partner ADIDO who will give us some insights into recent search marketing trends, how to use them to increase ecommerce ROI and examples of successes to learn from and failures to avoid. Please register here Then on Thursday 20th April we have the Ecommerce Club London: Location – Talent – Technology at Collective Plus, 56 South Molton Street, London, W1K 5LL which will enable you to engage with five vendors with complementary products: Charlotte Zimbehl, Stacy Chan, Faber Novella, Marina Skia and Fariba Soltani. These five brands are collaborating in the Collective Plus pop-up retail shop and you’ll be able to see the pop-up shop in action and speak to the retail brand owners. It’s an opportunity to learn from our technology partners on how to turn bricks and mortar back into digital and how to achieve continued customer loyalty beyond the Pop-Up.
